Virgina M. Taylor, 70 of Bismark died Thursday, February 3 at 5:45 p.m. at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born November 14, 1923 in Hope, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Gladys Logan Kennedy. Virgina M. Taylor, 70 of Bismark died Thursday, February 3 at 5:45 p.m. at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born November 14, 1923 in Hope, Arkansas to the late Clyde and Gladys Logan Kennedy. She was a housewife and a charter member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Bloomington, California. She was a member of the National Unit of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.

On August 1, 1942 in Charleston, she married Harold R. Taylor who preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1994.

She is survived by two sons, Donald R. Taylor, Ceour D'Alene, Idaho an dJames L. McReynolds of Rialto, California; two daughters, Beverly Lundstrom, San Mateo, California and Vickey Jansen, Sacramento, California; five brothers, Stanley Kennedy, Doniphan, Claude Kennery, Sikeston, Dennis Kennedy, Fontana, California, Bryan Lee Kennedy, Sikeston and Larry Kennedy of Sparks, Nevada. nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Henry Jordan of Grayridge officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
