Virginia Azalea Snyder, 75, of Junction City, Kan., died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, at Geary Community Hospital.
She was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Milton and Willie Harris Cobb. She and Leroy Mead Snyder were married June 26, 1946.
Snyder graduated from a Cape Girardeau high school in 1940. She was a member of Priscilla Circle of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Richard Snyder of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Terri Snyder of Basehor, Kan., Martie Thompson of Orange Park, Fla.; and a sister, Doris DeBoe of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Junction City from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Junction City, with the Rev. G. Edmond Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Prairiedale Cemetery in Talmage, Kan.
