Virginia Marie Seabaugh, 87, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Scopus, Missouri, to the late Kendell and Lola Crader Proctor. On Dec. 12, 1953, she married Willard Autle Seabaugh in Sedgewickville, Missouri. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia (Kenny) New of Cape Girardeau; brother, Robert Proctor of Gilbert, Arizona; sister-in-law, Shirley Proctor of St. Charles, Missouri; and two granddaughters, Marissa New and Alexia New.

In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald, Elmer and Odell Proctor; and two sisters, Louis Hoffmeister and Irene Churchill.

A private graveside service was held Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
