MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Virginia Marie Martin, 69, of Marble Hill died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 31, 1934, at Delta, daughter of Edgar Estes and Rebecca Garner Hinkle. She and Charles Martin were married 27 years ago.
Martin was a stitcher at a shoe factory.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Earl Obermann of Chaffee, Mo., Larry Obermann of Cape Girardeau, Terry Obermann of Dutchtown; three daughters, Brenda Carnell of Delta, Susan Reed of Dutchtown, Donna Davault of Advance, Mo.; her mother; three stepsons, Frank Martin of Delta, Charles Martin of Kansas City, Kan., Troy Martin of Scott City; a stepdaughter, Vicki Buttry of Waco, Texas; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Gavin Page officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
