SCOTT CITY -- Virginia M. Hildebrand, 67, of Nashville, Ill. and formerly of Scott City, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1993, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Feb. 28, 1926, at Scott City, the daughter of Rudolph and Grace Hensley Palmer. On Oct. 14, 1946, she married Stanley H. Hildebrand, who preceded her in death Oct. 8, 1960...

SCOTT CITY -- Virginia M. Hildebrand, 67, of Nashville, Ill. and formerly of Scott City, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1993, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Feb. 28, 1926, at Scott City, the daughter of Rudolph and Grace Hensley Palmer. On Oct. 14, 1946, she married Stanley H. Hildebrand, who preceded her in death Oct. 8, 1960.

She was the business office and personnel director for the Washington County Hospital in Nashville and a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville. She also was a member of the Darcus Circle of the church, Business and Professional Women of Nashville, the Illinois Health Care Financial Managers Association, the American Hospital Association, the American Health Care Personnel Managers Association and the Washington County Home Extension.

Survivors include a son, Stan Lee Hildebrand of Bethesda, Md.; a daughter, Peggy Hutchings of Nashville; two sisters, Jueldwen Livingston of Scott City and Maxine Marshal of St. Louis; a brother, Rudolph "Bud" Palmer of Shieffield Lake, Ohio; and four granchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Monday at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville.

The Rev. Dale Bartels will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
