Virginia Loucks

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Virginia "Jenny" Loucks, 82, of Chaffee passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 20, 1930, in Brownwood, Mo., to the late William and Mildred Speer Sparkman.

Jenny married John "Jack" Loucks on June 6, 1947, and he preceded her in death Jan. 23, 1988.

She was a member of the Chaffee General Baptist Church. Jenny owned and operated Jenny's Beauty Shop in Chaffee.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen (Janey) Loucks and Danny (Joyce) Loucks, both of Chaffee; a sister, Nelda Jean (Ivis) Kinder of Delta; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A brother and sister also preceded Jenny in death.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, with the Rev. Bob Lewis officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to the American Lung Association.
