Virginia Lee Bartling, 69, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 27, 1992, at her home.

She was born Jan. 31, 1922, in Cape Girardeau. daughter of William and Magdalena Anna Schwettmann Foeste. She married Howard Bartling May 21, 1949, in Cape Girardeau.

Bartling was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Egypt Mills.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Stephen Ervin of Highland, Ill.; a daughter, Theresa Walker of St. Petersburg; three sisters, Daisy Combs and Freida Jones of Cape Girardeau, Delia Proffer of Bloomfield, and five grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Helmuth Sylvester will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
