BELL CITY, Mo. -- Virginia "Toots" Joyce Hess, 70, of Bell City passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at her home. She was born Aug. 14, 1946, at Zalma, Missouri, the daughter of James and Ethel May Hedrick Back.
Toots had worked at several different factories in the area. She loved to play bingo.
Toots and Robert D. Hess were united in marriage April 24, 1968, at Zalma, and he survives of the home.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Hess; a son, Michael D. Hess of Bell City; a daughter, Michelle L. Bradshaw of Bell City; six grandchildren, Mick Minner, Mercedes Hess, Alan Michael Hess, Sierra Geiger, Kenneth Bradshaw and Dalton Bradshaw; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sons.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, Missouri.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Ted Stone officiating.
Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
