Virginia Conrad

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Virginia F. Conrad, 90, of Perryville died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born July 29, 1928, in Bollinger County, Missouri, daughter of Otto J. and Pearl Z. (Shrum) Bangert. She and Perry H. Conrad were married Oct. 2, 1948. He preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2011.

Virginia was a homemaker and a clerk for Conrad Auction Service and numerous livestock auctions. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Conrad of Perryville; two grandchildren, Renee Taylor Jones and Matthew (Brooke) Lukefahr; four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Bryant, Brynn and Emma; and a great-great-grandson, Carson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and from 6:30 a.m. Monday until the time of service at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Kevin Barron officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads United Methodist Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Crossroads United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
