CAIRO, Ill. -- Virgil Munsell, 79, of Cairo died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at Daystar Care Center. He was born Nov. 28, 1916, in Barswell, Ky., son of Sam and Cora Phillips Munsell. Munsell was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two sons, Darrell Munsell of Barlow, Ky., and Delbert Munsell of Cairo; a brother, Travis Munsell of Fancey Farm, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren...
CAIRO, Ill. -- Virgil Munsell, 79, of Cairo died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at Daystar Care Center.
He was born Nov. 28, 1916, in Barswell, Ky., son of Sam and Cora Phillips Munsell.
Munsell was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons, Darrell Munsell of Barlow, Ky., and Delbert Munsell of Cairo; a brother, Travis Munsell of Fancey Farm, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and son.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Pigg will officiate, with burial at the Old Mayfield Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cunningham, Ky.
