Virgil F. Moore, 74, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 3, 1917, in Cape Girardeau, son of Willard and Pearl Pete Moore. He married the former Juanita Young April 12, 1988, in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; two stepsons, Larry Coffman, Royalton, Ill., Donald Coffman, Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Everett Moore, Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Dora Poole, Cape Girardeau, Dorothy Russell, Killeen, Texas; three step-grandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.
He was a lifetime resident of the Cape Girardeau area. He worked 10 years in construction and served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.
Funeral service will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, with graveside rites by the VFW.
