SIKESTON -- Virgil Caile Bilbrey, 61, of Sikeston died Monday, May 19, 1997, at the Ferguson Medical Group.
He was born Aug. 4, 1935 in Anniston, son of Carroll Bilbrey and Edna Denton Creger. He was a member of the Anniston Christian Church.
He is survived by two sons, Virgil Bilbrey of Decatur, Ill., and Brian Vierra of Castro Valley, Calif.; three daughters, Lisa Bilbrey of Livermore, Calif., Sandra Bilbrey of Arnold and Anita Vierra of San Ramon, Calif.; a sister, Fern Franchi of Livermore; four grandchildren and a special friend, Mable King of Sikeston.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Thursday at the Smith Avenue Church of God in Sikeston. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Fred Girdwod, of the First Christian Church of East Prairie, officiating. The Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
