Virgie Schubert

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Virgie A. Schubert, 83, of Perryville died Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

She was born June 18, 1935, in Friedheim, daughter of Arthur and Anna Dickman Ruesler. She and Harold L. Schubert were married Aug. 12, 1961. He survives in Perryville.

Virgie retired from the banking industry after 30-plus years of service. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Other survivors include a daughter, Amy (Greg) Yamnitz of Perryville, and two grandchildren, Paige and Eli Yamnitz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until service time Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Crown Hospice.
