MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Violet Woods, 79, of Coffeen and formerly of Mound City died Oct. 22, 1994, at Memorial Hospital in Springfield, Ill.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Coffeen.
She was married to Walter William Woods, who preceded her in death, June 4, 1991.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Woods of Coffeen, Jerry Woods of Crestview, Fla., and Michael Woods of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Patsy Dover of Waterloo; a sister, Helen Killey of Sun City, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, a sister and a grandson also preceded her in death.
Friends may call Tuesday after 5 p.m. at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City, where funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Clarence "Pappy" Glenn will officiate, and burial will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
