Violet Ware, daughter of the late Elbert Howard Vance and Flossie Cramer Vance, was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Cape Girardeau and departed her life Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home in Whitewater at the age of 90 years.
On June 19, 1953, she was united in marriage to Lewis Alvin Ware in Chaffee. Mr. Ware survives of the home in Whitewater.
Besides her husband, survivors include one son, Floyd Ware of Whitewater; one brother, Billy Dean Vance of Whitewater; five grandchildren, Rachel Ware, Matt Ware, Carlen Mulholland, Amber Wilson and Jared Keller; eight great-grandchildren; also, by other relatives and many friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Vicky Lou Keller; one brother, Walter Don Vance; and two sisters, Carmen Propst and Bessie J. Grojean.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 19, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, March 19, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Conn officiating. Interment will follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
