VIOLET DAVIS

PERRYVILLE -- Violet E. "Dolly" Davis, 91, of Perryville, died Monday, March 18, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 6, 1905, in Perry County, daughter of John S. and Sadie Voelker Cissell. She married Harold I. Davis, who died May 3, 1975.

Davis had worked at Baldor Electric in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-9:45 a.m.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Frank Byrne officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Hope Mausoleum in St. Louis.
