PERRYVILLE, MO. -- Violet J. Claybrooke, 83, of Perryville died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born May 25, 1922, in Ellsinore, Mo., daughter of Joseph Lee and Willie McKinely Blue.
Claybrooke was a restaurant manager and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Funkhouesuer of Illinois; eight sons, Scott and Elbie Claybrooke, both of Perryville, Max Ward of Arkansas, Larry and Gary Ward, both of Carmi, Ill., Darrell Ward of Illinois, Dennis Ward of Indiana, and Rocky Ward of Michigan; three sisters, Vivian King of Corning, Ark., Gean Denny of Liberty, Texas, and Joann Moceby of Florida; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and four sisters.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Home Cemetery in Perryville with the Rev. Jim Kiefner officiating.
Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville is in charge of arrangements.
