Violet A. Kranawetter of Rt. 6, Jackson, died at St. Francis Medical Center Tuesday. She was 75.
She was born Aug. 30, 1917, at Egypt Mills, the daughter of Leo and Rosena Baker Rubel. She married Otto Kranawetter on Dec. 31, 1939, at St. Louis. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Ervin Kranawetter and Roy Kranawetter of Jackson and Robert Kranawetter of Gordonville; two sisters, Erna Rubel and Alma Froemsdorf, both of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church at Gordonvillle.
The funeral service will begin Friday at 10 a.m. at McCombs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Karl Leeman officiating. Internment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Gordonville.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at McCombs.
