LAS VEGAS -- Viola G. Wilson, 81, of Las Vegas, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 27, 1923, in Fornfelt, Mo., daughter of Homer and Alena Dyer. She married Russell Wilson in Denver, Colo., in 1960. He died on Jan. 5, 1988...

LAS VEGAS -- Viola G. Wilson, 81, of Las Vegas, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, in Las Vegas.

She was born Feb. 27, 1923, in Fornfelt, Mo., daughter of Homer and Alena Dyer. She married Russell Wilson in Denver, Colo., in 1960. He died on Jan. 5, 1988.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Baker of Las Vegas; two sisters, Anna Blattel and Margaret Stone, both of Cape Girardeau; two granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Funeral was held in Las Vegas. Burial was in Hampden Memorial Gardens in Denver.
