MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Viola Pauline Wilkinson, 91, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at StoneBridge Senior Living Center in Marble Hill.
She was born June 1, 1931, in Patton, Missouri, the daughter of W.C. "Chan"and Delphia Green Angle. She and John Jennings Wilkinson were united in marriage on Nov. 25, 1954.
Pauline worked at Deavers Shoe factory in Cape Girardeau and was later employed at International Hat Company of Marble Hill and Paramount Cap Company. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Little Whitewater Missionary Baptist Church. The last several years of her life she attended Locust Grove General Baptist Church.
Pauline was also a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed gardening, lawn mowing and cooking and loved her southern gospel music. She dearly loved her family and particularly delighted in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include sons, Jennings (Barbara) Wilkinson and Wade (Amanda) Wilkinson of Marble Hill; daughter, Gail (Rodney) Baker of Marble Hill; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Jared) Lacy, Jodi (Devon) James, Adam (BreeAnna) Wilkinson, Sarah, Seth, Caleb and Joshua; and five great-grandchildren, Zoie, Eli, Millie Jett and Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Ford and Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Revs. Elijah Allen and Steve Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
