Viola Marie Riehn, 91, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born March 12, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, to Freeman D. and Ruby Luedith Henry Niswonger.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn M. (Jim) Cauble of Scott City, Martha C. (Dennis) Stephenson of Old Appleton and Debra A. Riehn of Richmond, Indiana; two sons, James D. (Laura) Riehn of Wheaton, Missouri, and Danny (Claudine) Riehn of Calhoun, Louisiana; a brother, Norman "Sonny" (Janene) Niswonger of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Raymond "Pete" Riehn; one grandson; two brothers; and former husband Dayton O. Riehn.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson Foundation.
