PATTON, Mo. -- Viola Adell Ridings, 91, of Patton passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 5, 1928, in Bessville, Missouri, daughter of Abraham and Necie Patton Lincoln. She and Ardell Arvel Ridings were united in marriage Dec. 8, 1946, and he passed away July 9, 2003.
Viola worked as a sewing machine operator for International Shoe Factory.
Survivors include her son, Calvin (Rita) Ridings of Marble Hill, Missouri; daughter, Thelma (Wesley) Norris of St. Charles, Missouri; and granddaughters, Heidi (Sean) Adams of Jackson and Samantha Smith of Marble Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Charles Glen Lincoln; and sisters, Vallie Devenport, Mildred Tankersley, Pearl James and Dorothy Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jamie Hovis officiating. Burial will follow in Hurricane Fork Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Alzheimer's Association.
