JONESBORO, Ill. -- Viola F. Rendleman, 75, of Caseyville, Ill., died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born March 23, 1925, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Thomas Raymond and Mary R. Theiss Lynn. She and Maurice G. Rendleman were married Jan. 14, 1945, in Fort Leavenworth, Kan. He died April 8, 2000...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Viola F. Rendleman, 75, of Caseyville, Ill., died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born March 23, 1925, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Thomas Raymond and Mary R. Theiss Lynn. She and Maurice G. Rendleman were married Jan. 14, 1945, in Fort Leavenworth, Kan. He died April 8, 2000.

Rendleman was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville. She was formerly of Jonesboro.

Survivors include a son, Michael Rendleman of Caseyville; a brother, Paul Lynn of Murray, Ky.; a half brother, Robert Lynn of Collinsville, Ill.; two half sisters, Dorothy Penrod of Anna, Ill., Opal Burkett of Benton, Ill.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two stepbrothers.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Cobden, Ill. The Rev. Federico Higuera will officiate.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
