Funeral for Viola G. Kulish of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at All Saints Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Charles Lang will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Stewart Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.

Kulish, 89, died Monday, Oct. 25, 1999, at her home.

She was born April 9, 1910, in Newhall, Iowa, daughter of Joseph and Gertrude Flammang Erger. She and Wencil Kulish were married Oct. 23, 1940, in Newhall. He died March 12, 1969.

Kulish graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1932, and did post-graduate work at Ly-Inn Hospital in Chicago.

She was a registered nurse 40 years at Mercy Hospital, retiring in 1980.

Kulish was a member of All Saints Church, Mercy Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara McKeon of Cape Girardeau, Judy Hathaway of Vienna, Va.; three sisters, Frances Buchanan of Sun City, Ariz., Judy Hartvigsen of Davenport, Iowa, Elenora Samuelson of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild.
