Viola C. Kirchdoerfer, 83, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Monticello House.
She was born Aug. 17, 1930, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Andrew and Colletta Westrich Seyer Sr. She and Clemons Kirchdoerfer were married May 7, 1955. He passed away Nov. 11, 1998.
Viola was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson, a member of St. Ann's Sodality and the church maintenance volunteer group.
Loving survivors include two brothers, Lester (Semina) Seyer of Oak Ridge and Charles (Millie) Seyer of Jackson; two sisters, JoAnn (Ray) Clements of Jackson and Rose Helen Pair of Cape Girardeau; a sister-in-law, Rita Seyer of Dexter, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Andrew Jr., Elmer and an infant brother, Chester; and two sisters, Bernice Koehler and Lavada Clements.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church.
Funeral Mass will be at noon Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. John Harth officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception School.
