Viola Mae Kelly, 91, of Jackson died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Jackson Manor.
She was born Sept. 27, 1918, in Jackson, daughter of Fred Charles and Myrtle Octavia Fulbright Wilke. She married John Lee Kelly, who preceded her in death July 27, 1977.
Viola graduated from Jackson High School and received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She was a resource counselor with the Mideast Area Agency on Aging in St. Louis. She returned to Jackson in 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Bick, and a grandson, Paul Bick, both of St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, John Bruce Kelly.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
