VIOLA GREMAR

MARBLE HILL -- Viola Gremar, 90, of Glen Allen, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000.

She was born Sept. 1, 1909, at Portageville, daughter of Marvin Luther and Dora Ann Austin Robbins.

She and Narvel H. "Pete" Gremar were married on Sept. 14, 1924. He died Dec. 13, 1988.

She moved to the Marble Hill area in 1991 from El Paso, Texas. She was a member of the McGee Chapel Church near Glen Allen.

Survivors include three daughters, Dortha Mae McClain of St. Louis, Regina McCulley of Glen Allen, Sue Ivie of Sequin, Texas; a sister, Anna Mae Loyd of Myrtle Point, Ore.; 16 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, a daughter, two brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clinton Massa officiating. Interment will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen.
