MILLERSVILLE -- Viola Summers Anderson, 74, of East Peoria, Ill., died Wednesday, April 3, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born June 7, 1921, at Millersville, daughter of Leo and Emma Irvin Slinkard. She first married William Summers in 1939 at Jackson. She later married Don Anderson in 1970 in Canton, Ill.
Survivors include a son, Jack Summers of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Connie Sherrill of Peoria; two brothers, Norman Slinkard of Springfield, Howard Slinkard of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Cora Lindsey of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, six brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Fairview United Methodist Church, with Connie Sherrill and Jack Byrd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. to service time.
Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
