JACKSON -- Vincent L. Howard, 65, of Jackson Route 4, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Oct. 11, 1925, at Ste. Genevieve. He married Lavern Musgraves Oct. 12, 1946.

Howard had lived on a farm since 1947. He was manager of Mineweld Co. in Cape Girardeau from 1947-58, was a representative with IDS 1962-72, and since 1975 has owned and managed Indian Creek Stone Co. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, served with the V-12 Navy Pilots Training Program in 1944, 45.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Howard; his mother, Mary Carney Howard, all of Jackson Route 4; a brother, Tom Howard of Kansas City, and a granddaughter, Stephanie Howard.

Funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dave Conley will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
