Victor Douglass, 52, of Jackson died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at his home.
He was born June 25, 1952, at Thayer, Mo., son of Russell and Wilma "Jean" Bates Douglass. He and Linda Pearl Fields were married July 17, 1981, in Cape Girardeau. She died Oct. 10, 1991.
Douglass was a 1970 graduate of College High School in Cape Girardeau. He was a warehouse supervisor for the former ABC Co. in Cape Girardeau, and had most recently been a bus driver for Chateau Girardeau. He attended Cape First Church.
Survivors include his mother of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three sons, Joshua Douglass of Cape Girardeau, Matthew and Benjamin Douglass of Jackson; a brother, Garnett Douglass of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Linda Goldschmidt of Fisk, Mo.; and a granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Stephen Francis will officiate.
McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
