Vickie Ellen Emmons, 45, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 16, 1953, at Cape Girardeau, the daughter of James William Baylor Sr. and the former Ida May Fitzgerald Baylor.

She married Colin David "Mick" Emmons in November 1975 at Cape Girardeau.

Emmons had worked for a short time at Blair Industries and Procter and Gamble.

Survivors include her father, James William Baylor Sr. and his wife, Mary, of Cape Girardeau; her mother, Ida May Lindsey of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Tara Colegate and Regina Hamlin of Cape Girardeau; six brothers, Jimmy Baylor of Cape Girardeau, Montie Baylor of Poplar Bluff, Tommy Kimmel of Oriole, Pete Kimmel of Baton Rouge, La., Bill Durham of Cape Girardeau, and Bobby Durham; three grandchildren, Shane Emmons, Kaitlyn Colegate and Candace Hamlin; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Internment will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
