Vickie Dee Bowman, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 29, 2024, at her home.
She was born Nov. 27, 1958, in Oceanside, California, to Chalmer and Delores Johnson Tackett. She and Rodney Bowman were married Dec. 7, 1974, in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney Bowman of Cape Girardeau; a son, Eric (Anne) Bowman of Chesterfield; two daughters, Amy (Scott) Smith and Leanna (Philip) Leimer, both of Jackson; a brother, Ronnie Tackett of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Rhonda (Tony) Hafford of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren, Collin Salvo of Jackson, Carly Smith of Jackson, Nate Bowman of Chesterfield, Carson Smith of Jackson and Zach Bowman of Chesterfield.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, at the funeral home, with Gaylon Butler officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
