ORAN, Mo. -- Vernon Joseph Hanselman Jr., 54, of Oran passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, in Morley, Mo.
He was born July 6, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, to Vernon Joseph and Doris Joy Cook Hanselman Sr.
Hanselman was a farmer for Steve Minner.
Survivors include his mother, Doris J. Hanselman of Morley; a son, Eric (Ginger) Hanselman of Chaffee, Mo.; two daughters, Wendy Jean Hanselman of Memphis, Tenn., Brandi Jo Hanselman of Chaffee; a sister, Janet (Jimmy) Edmondson of Scott City; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Church Cemetery.
