BRAZEAU, Mo. -- Vera N. Weinhold, 74, of Brazeau died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 10, 1931, at Farrar, Mo., daughter of Theodor M.C. and Ella Roth Luehrs. She and Elmer H. Weinhold were married May 10, 1952. He died June 14, 2002.
Weinhold was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, Mo., and its Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a Sunday school teacher many years.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Weinhold of Columbia, Mo., Wayne Weinhold of Brazeau; three daughters, Carolyn Weinhold of St. Louis, Betty Baggett of Harrisburg, N.C., Joyce Hume of Lake St. Louis; two brothers, Arnold Luehrs of Farrar, Harold Luehrs of Frohna; two sisters, Doris Schmidt of Altenburg, Mo., Lorene Rush of St. Louis; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
