GLEN ALLEN -- Vera Miller, 85, of Glen Allen died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1994, at Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill.

She was born April 24, 1909, at Grassy, the daughter of Jess and Clercy Myers Newell.

On Dec. 24, 1930, she married Courtland Miller. He survives.

She is also survived by two sons, C.D. Miller, Hillsboro, Jerry Miller, Garden City, Kansas; one daughter, Patricia Dailey, Glen Allen; one brother, Floyd Newell, St. Charles; one sister, Lucille Cameron, Grassy; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Grassy General Baptist Friendship Church.

Friends may call today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Grassy Cemetery.
