Vera M. Klages, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Fountainbleau Lodge. She was born June 24, 1914, daughter of Arthur and Mary Ulrich Klages. Klages was a graduate of Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. Vera M. Klages, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born June 24, 1914, daughter of Arthur and Mary Ulrich Klages.
Klages was a graduate of Central High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a charter member of United Methodist Women, and held various offices in the Wesleyan Guild.

She was retired from P.N. Hirsch Brokerage.
Survivors include a brother, Roy A. Klages of Albany, N.Y.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Statler officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
