Vera Louise Keller, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Clem C. and Louise Propst Kinder. She and Layton Keller were married Jan. 19, 1945, at Gordonville.
Mrs. Keller was devoted to her home and family, her iris garden, quilts, and potted flowers. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Ann (Terry) Smith of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Carol (Randy) Ludwig of Jackson, Joyce (Fred) Seabaugh of Gordonville, Kathy Beauchamp of Lewisburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Brad (Tammy) Smith of Benton, Ky., Christy Smith of Poplar Bluff, Mindy Curtis of Nashville, Tenn., Douglas Ludwig of Jackson, Julie Seabaugh of St. Louis, Brian Seabaugh of Gordonville; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Smith of Benton, Ky.; and a brother, Howard (Bonnie) Kinder of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Virginia Kinder, and an infant grandson, Andrew John Seabaugh.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. today, and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
