PERRYVILLE -- Vera Hoercher, 73, of Perryville died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born Feb. 7, 1925, at Altenburg, daughter of George and Olga Lehr Doering. She and Clyde Hoercher were married April 10, 1968. He died Aug. 17, 1976...

PERRYVILLE -- Vera Hoercher, 73, of Perryville died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Feb. 7, 1925, at Altenburg, daughter of George and Olga Lehr Doering. She and Clyde Hoercher were married April 10, 1968. He died Aug. 17, 1976.

Hoercher was an elementary teacher 28 years at Immanuel Lutheran School in Perryville. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and director of the men's choir.

Survivors include cousins.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Church, with the Revs. Donald Loesch, Jeffrey Lloyd and Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
