BELL CITY -- Funeral service for Mrs. Velma O. Worth of Bell City will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
Mrs. Worth, 71 years old, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 1991, at her home.
She was born May 28, 1919, at Advance, daughter of John and Mabel May Brown Mansker. She married Clarence Frank Worth in 1935. He died July 13, 1976.
Mrs. Worth was a member of Garden Ridge General Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School many years and sang in the choir. She was also a member of Sapphire Chapter Order of Eastern Star here.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence Worth Jr. of Bowling Green, Ky., Jimmie Worth of Sikeston; a daughter, Wanda Innis of Scott City; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
