ANNA, Ill. -- Velma Henderson Miller, 79, of Anna, Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 7, 1995, at the Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born July 1, 1915, in Union County, daughter of Nenivie and Mary Elizabeth Lentz Karraker. She married Chris Henderson, who preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1985. She latter married Jim Miller, who preceded her in death in 1993...

ANNA, Ill. -- Velma Henderson Miller, 79, of Anna, Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 7, 1995, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born July 1, 1915, in Union County, daughter of Nenivie and Mary Elizabeth Lentz Karraker.

She married Chris Henderson, who preceded her in death Jan. 6, 1985. She latter married Jim Miller, who preceded her in death in 1993.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Marilyn Mathews and Connie Yates, Ronnie and Joe Barnhart, all of Anna; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

She was a member of Church of Christ near Christian Chapel.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. James Barnhart officiating. Burial will be in the Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.
