Velda P. Bollinger, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 2, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1915, at Scopus, daughter of Phillip F. and Azie Limbaugh Bollinger. She graduated from the Cape Girardeau beautician school. She owned the Marquette Beauty Shop on Broadway for 50 years...

Velda P. Bollinger, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 2, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Feb. 25, 1915, at Scopus, daughter of Phillip F. and Azie Limbaugh Bollinger.

She graduated from the Cape Girardeau beautician school. She owned the Marquette Beauty Shop on Broadway for 50 years.

She was a member of the New McKendree United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Jackson.

She was a past worthy matron and district deputy grand matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the White Shrine and Amaranth chapters in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors are two sisters, Mildred Brown of Jackson and Melba Bollinger of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. O. David Griffin will officiate, and burial will be in Cook Cemetery at Scopus.
