DAISY -- Veda Hahs, 85, of Daisy, died Friday, Sept. 27, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1906, at Daisy, daughter of Jefferson and Iva Drum Barks. She married Gifford Hahs July 18, 1938. He died Nov. 22, 1970.
Hahs lived in this area all her life. She was a member of Daisy Homemakers Club, New Salem United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women. She was also church treasurer a number of years.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Hahs of Daisy; a sister, Iona Zoellner of Friedheim; two granddaughters, Rhonda Schreiner of Daisy, Tonya Myers of Oak Ridge, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at New Salem Church. The Rev. Michael Woods will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 9 a.m. to noon, and then at the church from 1 p.m. until service time.
