VEDA H. DUNNING

Veda H. Dunning, 65, of 546 S. Pacific, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Dec. 1, 1927, in Randles, Mo., daughter of Charlie and Rosie Welker Surface.

She married Edward F. Dunning on Dec. 10, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.

Survivors include her husband; one son, James E. Dunning of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Brenda K. Dunning of Cape Girardeau, Susie Ann Long of Advance, Carolyn Whitmore of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Beulah Simmons of Chaffee, Mable Bennifield from Kankakee, Ill., Elizabeth Wondel of Painton, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister and a grandchild.

Friends may call at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Services will be held at 1:30 Monday, at the Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Chapel, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery in Delta, Mo.
