VEDA EDWARDS

DEXTER, Mo. -- Funeral for Veda Edwards of Dexter will be held at 11 a.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Bob Hopkins will officiate. Burial will be in Lick Creek Cemetery.

Edwards, 93, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 31, 1907, at Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of Everett and Drucella Palmer Edwards.

Edwards worked for the federal government in Washington, D.C., many years. She moved back to the Dexter area after retiring.

Survivors include a daughter, Jo Anne Morgan of Puxico, Mo.; three brothers, Harvey and Bryce Edwards of Flint, Mich., Edsel Edwards of Bloomfield; a stepsister, Delma O'Bards of Bloomfield; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
