Vasilios "Bill" Zorbas, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Heartland Care and Rehab Center.
He was born June 4, 1951, in Katafigion, Greece, to Spyros and Vasiliki Papageorgiou Zorbas.
Vasilios was the chef at Woodland Steak House in Marble Hill, Mo., retiring in 2010.
He was a member of St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church in Cape Girardeau.
Vasilios was a former member of the Greece Army.
Survivors include his wife, Zoi; three sons, Billy, Louie and Spyros; a daughter, Vicky; two sisters, Eleni and Areti; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Joseph Strzeleki and the Rev. Daniel Morton officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church.
