ADVANCE, Mo. -- Vallie Ann Bollinger, 100, of Advance died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005, at the Advance Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 11, 1905, at Toga, Mo., daughter of William Franklin and Lucy Scott Carlton. She married Jess Bollinger, and he died June 7, 1954.
Bollinger was retired from a position as manager of the Advance Elementary School cafeteria. She taught Sunday school at the First Baptist Church, where she was a member.
Survivors include a daughter, Maxine Tippett of Advance; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two grandsons, three sisters and a brother.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Morgam Memorial Park at Advance.
