LOGANSPORT, Ind. -- Valerie Sue Rhymer, 44, of Logansport, formerly of Scott City, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Indianpolis, Ind.
She was born March 16, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Luther and Hazel Lawson Rhymer.
She was employed as a patient attendant at the Indiana State Hospital in Logansport.
Survivors include her mother of Scott City; her fiance, Jason Henderson of Logansport; six sons, Jeremy Blankenship of Longview, Texas, Justin Blankenship, Mikey Cattorn, both of Peru, Ind., Christian, Phillip, Josh Cattorn, all of Logansport; a brother, Wayne Rhymer of Scott City; three sisters, Diane Rose of Gipsy, Mo., Donna Nesbit of Scott City, Evelyn Hopper of Chaffee, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Robert Azinger officiating.
Interment will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
