CAIRO, Ill. -- Valerie Deloris Lampkin, 28, of Cairo, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died suddenly Sunday, Aug. 9, 1992, in Cairo.
She was born Nov. 6, 1963, daughter of Woodrow Jack Ingram and Gathella Lampkin. She attended Charleston High School.
Survivors include a son, Willie Lampkin; a daughter, Jamina Lampkin, both of Cairo; two brothers, Reginald Lampkin of San Diego, Calif., Woodrow Ingram of Flint, Mich.; six sisters, Rachael Lampkin of Cairo, Bertha Lampkin of Tokyo, Japan, Wanda Lampkin of Overland, Emily, Arnetta and Carla Ingram of Flint; maternal grandmother, Bertha Lampkin of Charleston, and paternal grandmother, Alfreda Rogers of Charleston.
Friends may call from 7-8 p.m. today at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Perry Chapel AME Church, with the Rev. Joe L. Travis officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
