COBDEN, Ill. -- Ulva Mae Gulledge, 92, of Cobden died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at the Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro. She was born Jan. 4, 1906, in Cobden, daughter of Harlan H. and Hulda Foster Dean. She married Elmer William Gulledge Dec. 31, 1942. He died March 28, 1974...

COBDEN, Ill. -- Ulva Mae Gulledge, 92, of Cobden died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at the Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro.

She was born Jan. 4, 1906, in Cobden, daughter of Harlan H. and Hulda Foster Dean.

She married Elmer William Gulledge Dec. 31, 1942. He died March 28, 1974.

She was a member of the Limestone Baptist Church north of Cobden.

She is survived by a son, Gary Gulledge of Cobden; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.

A son, two brothers and two stepsons preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Wes Henson and Kenneth Mixen officiating. Burial will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
