SIKESTON -- Ulie F. Fitts, 69, of Rt. 1, Sikeston, died Sunday, March 13, 1994, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1924, at Cerro Gordo, Tenn., the son of Lillian Lorene Rainey Fitts, who survives of Sikeston, and Jame Emory Fitts.
He was a resident of the area the last 40 years.
Fitts was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving during World War II, and a retired refrigeration and air conditioning technician.
He was married on June 27, 1947, to Dorris Berniece Christopher at Corinth, Miss. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, James Allen Fitts of Dexter; four daughters, Patricia Crowell and Kathy Duncan of Sikeston, Tammy Krapf of Olive Branch, Miss., and Sherri Dianne Fitts of Benton; and five grandchildren.
One son, one daughter and one brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Bill Meeks officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
